Nerada Organic Chai

neradachai.jpgFinally! A Chai teabag that doesn’t suck. I found that most other brands are too weak or they don’t get the balance right so you end up with one spice overpowering all the others *cough* Lipton *cough* cinnamon. I was surprised to read on the pack that Nerada have left out star anise which is an essential ingredient. Well, it still tastes awesome! Ok, maybe I’m too excited but I’ve been looking for a decent chai teabag for years. Stay tuned for Lisa’s chai recipe, which is what I make when I’m not feeling lazy. She makes it the best, but my attempt is pretty good :-)

I totally agree. Nerada is the ONLY brand that makes GOOD chai teabags. The rest are all absolute rubbish! I’ve bought so many other brands and thrown out the boxes after just having one cuppa… what a waste. Lipton is awful, I agree… but have you tried Twinings’s attempt? You need to use 3 teabags at once and it still doesn’t taste right!!!

I agree Nerada Organics makes the best chai teabag. I’ve tried all the brands but have found that Nerada’s blend is the most refreshing. I prefer a half boiling water, half warmed milk mix. This teabag delivers every time. I do not notice the missing ingredient. Tastes like chai to me! I just wish they would add a calorie count to the pack!
