To aid in your boredom relief, you can now vote in my really witty polls. And it’s all yummy AJAX thanks to the WP-Polls plugin, which is an absolutely polished piece of coding. Poll ideas welcome as I’ll probably run out of ideas after the first 5 polls. Now I’m going to try and add a poll to this post…
[poll=2]

On a related note, do you still have that file of old polls floating around anywhere? I can’t find it for the life of me, and there were some gems in there.
Yeah I do. I’ve got 33 polls from 2002 and 26 poll suggestion emails. I’ll put the good ones up so stay tuned :-)
I just checked out what the RSS feed does to polls. Might have to fix that. The AJAX is broken in Google Reader at least…
Aha! He’s fixed the RSS thing in the next RC.
“NEW: Removed Polls From Feed If The Poll Is Embedded Into The Post Using [poll=ID]”
Apparently, only 10 days till the final release of WP-Polls 2.20 so I’ll wait until then.
To log or not to log? That is the question. The poll thingy can track voters by IP, cookie or both. What should I track, if anything? Or should I hack the source code so you can vote again after x minutes, like the good ‘ol days?
