It's not me, it's Google and every other man and his animated Office Assistant on the web who is using Arial.

But I looked into it and turns out the Helvetica font on my Windows is actually a renamed Arial. I can tell by the capital R. Why the hell would I have that installed?

So I can't give you the "Helvetica 10 looks just as shit on Windows" rebuttal I was going to because I'm too lazy to install a proper version of Helvetica and compare.

But I installed Font Replacer on my Mac Firefox, which might come in handy for banishing Comic Sans once and for all.

I turned it on but I still prefer Arial for small-medium stuff. Helvetica looks "stressed" in italic. But on a Mac unless I'm looking for it I couldn't tell them apart. Hmm. Now I realise this new blog theme is wildly inconsistent I should probably fix it.

I'm able to watch Doc Martin again now. Problem was I was getting too attached to the characters. When you watch it just for the lulz it's much better. But the whole thing is a blatenty constructed impossible fantasy world with zero realism but I think that's the point. Come on. A doctor who faints at the sight of blood? Please.

I agree, he is a curse. Series 3 finale of Doc Martin was disgusting, as was the ending of series 4, actually no, make it all of series 4. I mean I understand keeping suspense within a story line but Mingellha takes it to the perverse. It shows real skill to subtly generate strong emotions amongst the audience but it is not hard to do the exact opposite of what the audience wants and what the story line has been trying to achieve througout it's existence! He probably had a bad day or something and took delight in massacring the story line.

I'm having the same problem with my reminders. I have my time zone set correctly to Central Time(GMT -6) in Google Calendar, but it appears that all of the reminders are being sent out based on GMT!

If I have an all day event, and have a reminder set to send at 1 hour before the event, I get an email at 5pm (11:00pm GMT)!

This is really frustrating, but I can't find a way to fix it in Google Calendar.
